A series of paintings centered on the theme of connection: between forms, colors, movements, and inner energy. In these works, a dialogue emerges — a conversation shaped through paint, line, transparency, and rhythm. Connection is an ongoing series from 2025–2026 in which I explore how visual elements touch, overlap, and influence one another. A conceptual body of work in which painting takes the lead.

Connection – Dialogues in Paint

Connection is an ongoing series from 2025–2026 in which I explore how visual elements touch, overlap, and influence one another. A conceptual body of work in which painting takes the lead.
Spray paint over a fishing net forms the base, followed by intuitive acrylic patches. I wait for the image to unfold. Then I emphasize it minimally: soft color fields, subtle figuration. Each viewer may discover their own world; my accents are quiet traces of inner energy.

Paintings inspired by my visit to the Keukenhof. Color, rhythm and organic forms evoke growth and natural movement. One work from this series recently received an international award, a gentle acknowledgment of the attention this body of work has gained.

Concept for Two Figureheads (EN, museum level & <500 characters) My concept for two figureheads linking the center of Maassluis to its maritime heart was adopted by Loods M. There I created two small plexiglass models, a learning process from drawing to clay form, 3D scan and construction. These works are permanently on display at Loods M. In the new museum, the concept may be realized in glass at a height of three meters.
