Vision Bikkel Artist

As an artist, I work with glass and metal to make themes of consciousness, connection, and homesickness tangible. Glass represents transparency and purity, and for me, it approaches the essence of water—a source of inspiration and homecoming. My choice for Bullseye glass and my decision to work without a studio of my own testify to my dedication to this medium. The metal in my work functions as a grid: a poetic metaphor for the journey between here and there, between Curaçao and the Netherlands, between desire and limitation.
